Fire Extinguishers

CO2 Extinguishers

Carbon Dioxide Extinguishers are suitable for class B risks involving flammable liquids and also suitable for electrical hazards caused by electrical equipment - ideal for modern offices.

Water Extinguishers

Water Extinguishers are suitable for class A fires caused by the combustion of solid materials, mainly of organic origin, such as: wood, paper, straw, textiles, coal etc.

Foam Extinguishers

Foam Extinguishers are ideal where both A & B class fire risks exist, particularly class B fires caused by the combustion of materials that liquefy such as petrol, oils, fats, paints, tar etc.

Powder Extinguishers

Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers are recommended for mixed fire environments because they cover type A, type B and type C fires including flammable liquids and flammable gases.

F Class extinguishers

F Class extinguishers are specifically designed to fight class F fires resulting from cooking oils and deep fat fires. It has the capability to fight fires in deep fat fryers up to 75 litres of oil.

Signage-Essential Information

An EC Directive has been produced which is published in the UK as the Health and Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996. The provisions include that all employers, owners, occupiers and/or managers to conduct a formal Risk Assessment which may identify the need for SAFETY SIGNS
